Every type of business uses the Community Card and Tap Review Cards a little differently. Find yours below. If one of our products isn't a good fit for you, we will say so.
Plumbers, electricians, roofers, builders, decorators, window cleaners
Be the number in the kitchen drawer when the boiler breaks or the roof leaks. Book the Autumn drop for heating work and Spring for exteriors. Window cleaners: pick the drop that covers the streets you already work.
A card in every van. Hand it over when you sign off a job, while the customer is still pleased. Reviews matter most in trades, because people are worried about cowboys.
Try: Essential or Prominent ad + the 3-card Van Pack
Salons, barbers, nail and beauty studios
Works best with a new-client offer, like "£10 off your first colour", and a QR code that goes straight to your booking page. Time it for the Christmas or New Year drop. Barbers usually get more from reviews than from the card.
One card per stylist, each with its own scan count, plus a Review Station on reception. Ask at the mirror or at the till when the client is happiest.
Try: the 5-card pack or Gold Bundle, with a Prominent ad for Christmas
Cafés, restaurants, takeaways, B&Bs
A strong fit for takeaways: an offer code in every kitchen in your delivery area. Cafés and restaurants do best with a set-menu or Sunday lunch offer. Guest houses serve visitors, so the card is less useful for them.
A card on every table, or in the bill folder. Restaurants and B&Bs can point cards to TripAdvisor or Booking.com instead of Google, at no extra cost.
Try: the Gold Bundle, and a Prominent ad with an offer code for takeaways
Sales and lettings agents
Stay familiar to homeowners long before they decide to sell. Book the Dominant spot for the largest, most premium position, and the season bundle so you are on every drop.
One card per negotiator, each tracked, so you can see who is collecting the most reviews after a sale or let.
Try: Dominant ad on the season bundle + 5-card pack
Independent retail and food shops
Seasonal is where this shines: Christmas orders in November, BBQ packs in spring, Valentine's and Mother's Day flowers. Check the drop calendar and book the one that lands before your busy season.
A Review Station by the till. Customers wait there anyway, so it gets seen at the right moment.
Try: Review Station + a Prominent ad on your seasonal drop
Garages, MOT centres, tyre and body shops
An MOT reminder or winter check offer through every door. People keep these cards, so they come back to it when the car needs work.
A Review Station on the counter where customers collect their keys. Trust is everything for garages, and reviews build it.
Try: Review Station + an Essential or Prominent ad with an offer
Gyms, fitness classes, yoga and PT
Timing is everything: book the New Year drop, and the Early Summer drop for the holiday crowd. Put a free trial on the card and link the QR code to your sign-up page.
A card at the front desk. Useful, though many gyms already ask for reviews through their booking app.
Try: a Prominent ad on the New Year drop
Dentists, physios, opticians, aesthetics
New-patient offers work well with families in the area. You approve every word of the ad before it is printed, so you stay within your professional rules.
A Review Station at reception. We only ever ask customers for an honest review, never a star rating.
Try: Review Station + a Prominent ad in January
Groomers, walkers, pet sitters
A first-groom offer to homes near you can fill the diary. Owners keep the card for when the dog needs its next visit.
Hand the card over at pick-up, when the dog looks its best and the owner is delighted.
Try: 1 Tap Card + an Essential ad with a first-visit offer
Tell Ryan what you do and where your customers are. You'll get an honest recommendation, even if that's "just start with one tap card".
