NorthDownDirect is a locally operated advertising business based in Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. We are the data controller for northdowndirect.com and for the Tap-to-Review Card redirect service described below.

When you submit an enquiry or order through our website, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any message or package selection you include. Forms on this site are processed through Formspree.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we collect whatever information you choose to share with us in that conversation.
When a customer taps or scans one of our NFC or QR Tap-to-Review cards, our redirect system automatically records the scan timestamp, IP address, device/browser user agent, and referring page, before sending them on to the relevant Google review page. This data is used to show the business that owns the card how many times it has been used, and is not used to identify individual reviewers.
Card orders are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see, receive or store your payment card details.
Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in running the business, and, where you place an order, the performance of that contract with you.
We use a small number of third-party services to run this business. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
We keep enquiry and order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, respond to your enquiry, and meet our accounting obligations — typically no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless we're legally required to keep it longer. Tap-to-Review Card scan logs (timestamp, IP address, user agent, referrer) are kept for as long as the card remains active, so we can provide scan-count reporting, and are deleted on request.
This website does not itself set tracking or analytics cookies. If you follow a link from this site to Stripe, WhatsApp, Google, or another third-party service, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy — this policy does not cover them.
